Broccoli Cha'i-Pow-Yu
 

PREPARATION: 5 minutes   COOKING: 10 minutes   SERVING: 6
INGREDIENTS: 1 can Companion Braised Seitan Tidbits (Cha'i-Pow-Yu), drained
1 onion
3 medium potatoes, diced
3 cups fresh or frozen broccoli florets
1/2 red pepper, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp grated ginger
3 cloves mashed garlic
1 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp corn starch
1/2 cup water
salt
Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Fry cha'i Pow Yu until golden brown. Set aside.
2. Heat olive oil and saute sliced ginger, diced garlic and sesame oil. Add onion, potatoes, broccoli, red pepper, and pepper and cook for a minute.
3. Add the browned Chai-Pow-Yu and the curry powder. Cook until the vegetables are done.
3. Stir in cornstarch mixture (cornstarch mixed with a small amount of cold water) and cook for about 3 minutes on medium heat. Serve over rice or pasta.
